THE BAND

JERRY FIDDLER, mandolin
Jerry, a Cree Indian born in Missoula, Montana, and raised in Spokane, Washington, received his first guitar at age three. He went on to play guitar, piano, baritone, and various other instruments until he finally found his love, the Mandolin, in 1972. He currently plays an American made "Ovation" Acoustic/Electric Mondolin, has Peavey amplifers, and uses various effects pedals.

Jerry comes from a long line of music enthusiasts and musicians including his father and uncle (great guitar players) and his grandfather (a good fiddle player). He has been involved with the music scene in the Pacific Northwest since the mid '60s, sharing the stage with such notable performers as Terry Robb, Pat Barclay, Robbie Laws, Steve Starkey, Kurt Baumer, Sammy Eubanks, Too Slim and the Taildraggers, Billie Stoops, Kinzel & Hyade, Katy Angel, and Mark Lemhouse, to name a few.

"I've been so fortunate to play with such great talent and cannot begin to tell you how grateful I am to be playing with Cary Fly Band," Jerry says. "The Great Spirit just keeps giving me incredible gifts."
