| CONSTANCE ELLER, violin |
Constance Eller, a Spokane native and descendant of composer Antonin Dvorak, studied violin at Fort Wright College with the late Sr. Xavier Mary Courvoisier and with Roman Totenburg at Boston University and Tanglewood Institute in Massachussetts. She performed at New York's Lincoln Center with the Boston University Chamber Orchestra, going on to become a member of the Spokane Symphony in the 1970s.
The arrival of two daughters, Michelle and Charissa, gave Constance a new focus and kept her on a different path for a time. Multi-talented, she owns and operates the family business, Constant Creations (constantcreationstattoo.com) with Charissa in downtown Spokane, located between the Davenport and Ridpath Hotels.
Constance has served as concertmaster for the Gonzaga University Symphony for fifteen years and became a founding member of Quartetto Espressivo in 2000. Constance also plays electric violin with several groups in the area, including the Cary Fly Band.
